A moment in time

  this week my class has learnt about using 4 senses in writing, so we made a "moment in time" and we used 4 senses for the writing, here's mine:

Yesterday I used an app that that is called thisissand (This is sand) this app is used for mindfulness and art.  In this app you can make art or just be satisfied by the sand and if you're wondering what kind of art you can make this is a picture of mine.

Science experiment 2

The same day that I posted baking cookies I decided to do a science experiment were I had four glasses with dyed water (With a different color in each one) and had 3 folded paper towels.

The end result was that no matter how much water or color I put in the tallest glass always colored the most of the paper towel.

This week during lock down I decided to make cookies, and we've had to compromise because we didn't have condensed milk so we had to use caramel as an alternative but it tasted the same any way.  Other then that here's a photo of them:

Today my class made poem about onomatopoeia, by the way onomatopoeia means a word that describes a sound, My poem went like this:

              FRACTIONS OF AMOUNTS                                

Hello bloggers!  Today i'm gonna share with you my fractions of amounts work.  Fractions are like half's, quarters and thirds are called fractions.  And fractions of amounts is a number AND a fraction!  I was given some questions like 23/3 or 19/4.  The work that I did was kind of complex, but luckily we were allowed  to use a times table chart, and here's a photo of my work:

Hello bloggers today i'm going to show you my class treaty. Our class treaty covers our four school values. 

Our school values are Care,Share,Learn and Grow.  These values also represent the house colours they are

Red,Blue,Green and Yellow.

Care is respectful,honest and kind to the environment and to others. Share are team players who are fair and

supportive of others.  Learn are lifelong learners focused and always ready to Learn.  Grow is always trying

to be better than before and always trying new things. I'm in yellow house!

Every two weeks there is a thing called a whanauhui.

It is when everybody is told which house won the most awhis, and we are all of the new notices.

An awhi is use for getting rewards such as: getting a Milo, having some one from another class come to

yours etc...

MY DOG'S!!!

 Hello bloggers!  Do you have a pet?  well if you do that means your COOL!!!  But even better if you own a SAUSAGE DOG THEN YOU ARE A GOD!!!  And I own two!  so I'm a god as well, HOORAY!!!  (Also no offence to non pet owners) Here's a photo of them as well:

I know cute right, let me tell you about them.  The black and tan ones name is Georgie, and the shaded red is named Tilly!  They both like to sunbathe and play rough with each other, and have their own unique thing.  Tilly has a broken tail, and Georgie has an overbite.  And not only do I have those two trouble makers, but I also have a third one.  It's not as Mischievous as the other two though.  So now were coming to the end of this blog, so I hope you had fun reading this, and see ya!

 

UPDATE!!!  so you must be thinking: what do you mean "update", well I thought you might like to know a bit more details so here we go!  Well first we like to take the dogs on walks and sometimes Tilly rubs on dry grass, here's a photo of her:

Pepper and water experiment

On Thursday I did an amazing experiment with pepper and water and this is what happens...

I got out the pepper, a plate, water and dish-washing liquid.  Then I got the water and put it

on the plate and sprinkled a lot of pepper.

I dipped my finger in the water but it just stuck to my finger.

And then I dipped my finger in the dish-washing liquid.

And the second I dipped my finger in the water and all the pepper went away from my finger.

This is a perfect example of germs.  It's like the pepper is the germs and when you dip your

finger in the germs stick your finger, but if you put soap/hand gel it goes away, this is a

good reminder to always WASH YOUR HANDS!!!

CSI

CSI

HELLO again everyone, this is the 4th blog and I've made a CSI.  CSI stands for: colour, symbol and image.  This CSI is about technology the colour I chose was blue like a circuit board, and for my symbol I chose a phone then for the image I did a computer.  The way I made these drawings was by using auto draw the way you draw on it is by trying to draw what you what, then there are some suggestions at the top of what your trying to draw.

BLEZERS ICE CREAM ACTIVITY

Hello again bloggers this is now my 3rd post so I hope your liking them (^o^) Oh well, so on the 21st of June my class and I did an activity were we read the poem "Blezers ice cream" the poem is also based of alliteration.  (BTW it means words that start with the same letter)
And what we did was make up a crazy ice cream name (using alliteration of coarse) and we also drew one, well we did 2 one in real life and one in google drawings.  here are the pictures of them...

They are both based of the new nether in Minecraft!
